INVERT 2.0 • Urban Village
Established and emerging Australian architects were invited to respond to a brief reimagining a city block beside Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market as a hypothetical urban village. This envisioned village integrates residential, community, commercial, and green spaces.

INVERT 3.0 • Laneways
The third iteration of this architecture-led collaboration, this exhibition explored the potential of Melbourne’s laneways. In the face of a steadily growing population, laneways present unique opportunities for adaptive reuse, intergenerational and communal living, and sustainable mobility.

Established and emerging Australian architects were invited to respond to a hypothetical brief: to design an independent dwelling on a subdivided parcel of land within suburban Melbourne. Offering diverse interpretations of infill housing and suburban adaptation.
